Gosh - what a year it has been! This yeah's been a really tough year in one aspect but another it's been one of the most exciting year I've had! I've had anything and everything from successes, failures, happiness, tears, joys, stress, personal growth, more stress, engagement - anything and everything you name it! It's been one crazy rollercoaster ride I tell you that .. And I hate rollercoasters, make me sick (literally) >_<

Really can't wait for next year, though at the same time a bit nervous/anxious looking into the unknown, especially with my wedding coming up .. (and the to-do list hasn't gotten smaller - yikes!)

How about you? Any resolutions for the new year? For me I would like to explore new areas of arts stuff like drawings, animation and arts. I'd still love to be walling but I prolly have to cut it back a little if I want to achieve all that and still keep my marriage intact - LOL! ^^;;;;

Howdy Zem. Long time since our last chat so i will make this long ^_^ Before i get into it, I'm just wondering which country u are living in now? Its not too personal, just curious thats all XD

It seems Minitokyo bandwidth has increased now as I am able to surf through their interface and download scans at an extraordinary speed. Since I'm on cable, (like you) I'm expected to get the same speed as I'm browsering through AP or surfing the net. If I don't get that, they just lost themselves a great user and many more users in the community who has the same thought, unless Minitokyo is their second or first home for walls and scans ^_^

I use to have dial-up connection and my god, it was slow. Downloading files took ages like 10mins for a 3meg file. Now it only takes less than 60secs depending on the bandwidth of their server but still a significant difference. I never experienced browsering AP on a dial-up connection but I'm sure don't want to try that.

Fixing up some of ur walls huh, thats great. Trying to get the lines looking sharper makes the image itself looks more crisp and clean. First impression counts and when i full view a vector wall, i always look at the character vectors first before i look at the background.

In looking in ur works list, I'm really looking forward to "My Neighbor Totor" wall. I've been such a fan of this movie, i can't get it out of my head. I first watched it when i was 4 years old. It was on video and i watch it at my friends place. He allowed my to borrow it so i can watch it again at home because he knew i loved it so much. When i got home and tried to play it, my VCR somehow couldn't read it. It was a old crappy VCR anyway but it was able to play all of my parents chinese videos. I was so disappointed where i almost cried. Oh the memories. I love it how it all comes rushing back when I look at walls which represents my favourite series or movies. ^_^

now to your message. ^^ i will now write a comment on your deviantart piece, and i'll add you to my watchlist, i also have a deviantart account. i really think it is fantastic, really love it. yeah family is sometimes a sad thing. there aren't often that kind of a connection between everybody. we're the same in that kinda things, so i totally understand your point of view. sadly i haven't a good advice on that, i also don't like these things. i think it will be hard not carring for them, i couldn't do that. i'm the kind of person who always says yes to everything and when it's to late i wished i had said no, but i can't really do that. it's hard to say no, even to people who treating you not all to great. well for me it's really not that easy to do. okay so then i have to wait till it's done. ^^ so hope everything's well anyways at your place.

you wrote me a message already, sometimes i get confused by that, too. and sometimes i just don't answere messages :D. i think must write back to 3 people. ^^ you know, about the family comment of yours - totally agree with you. i'm the same, i see my friends more like a family than my real. cause there were always times were i just don't felt i belong to them. on the other hand there times i feel i belong to them. kinda twisted with that thing, but usual i stay more at my friends than the family. we getting along okay, not that super but i couldn't say they all hate me or something. the only one who real hate me is my dad, it seems. i never talked to him in 14 years so i don't know. but i doesn't want to talk to me, ever i tried in the past he let people say he's not there or just hang off the phone. well let's just jump to another topic, the one we now end here makes me always so sad. hey you thank you for the fav on my kh wall. i tried to make it so the design didnt overlay on sora, but when i did, he stood out too akwardly, so i just made the design stand out a little less over him. but thanks for the critique anyway :)

Argh, no, no break for me, my classes have started this week, but hey, it's still way much better than having exams! XD (yeah, my exams went great, I passed all I needed to, so mew's happy!!) Feels good to get back here...I don't know when my next wall will be ready, right now I'm making a FMA wall for a friend, it's a request... I usually don't make walls on request simply because when I make a wall, I have my own vision of it, which is usually much different from what someone else has in mind. But this is sort of special, so... Haha, so you're full of ideas, eh? You know, same thing happens to me, I start working on something, then I get a idea how to make another wall, I start working on that other one, and so on....I have 10 project, more or less, waiting to be done, and when will that be? I don't know, but I hope I'll find out soon LOL

Oh gosh, usernames... well, when I chose mine, I obviously wasn't feeling very serious that day :p I don't know, but I usually choose some funny (weird?) nicks.... when I just remember some of them... wow, what was I thinking? :D Well, al least you must admit there's not many 'mewchoochoo's around here HAHAHA....

Oh man, my music library....lots of songs there, and lots of cleaning needed, I'd say...every day I keep on adding/removing songs from my list....I think there's around 200 of my all-time fav songs. Do you listen anime OSTs, j-pop and stuff like that? I personally like some anime songs a lot, but I'm not really a biggest fan of it...I still prefer things like rock, blues, classics...

Hi there Zem. Another late rely as usual but i hope u understand my circumstances. Work and college very soon ^_^

I tend to vector the image before i colour but now i'm doing it ur way. Vectoring the image and colouring it the same time. If I do this, I will get a clearly image of the my vector image and at the same time compare it with the scan. This way, I can change it to suit my perference or edit the image to suit my liking. Just a question, I recently notice ur walls are all stokes instead of shapes, can u confirm that with me? Like i'm gonna start using shapes from now on. It makes the image look more sharper but its extra long to do. But the effort is worth it in the end, don't u agree? ^_^.

Ur right, Minitokyo categories are confusing but i'm still able to find scans from a particular category i want. Sometimes the scans and walls are at the same categories and this is where i hate. Sometimes when i look at the paper and think it's a scan i like, i click on it and it turned out to be a wallpaper instead. Talk about the effort in just clicking on the thumbnail.

Everybody a leecher from time to time. Its either from downloading walls or files from bittorrent. Same here, download lots of files and then realised half of it is junk and i just delete it immediately. Do u have cable or dial-up? I have cable so i don't mind downloading many stuff. Their all fast downloads anyway with less that a minute wait depeinding on the file size and the speed of the receiving end. I think its called bandwidth. Low bankwidth, slower the speed.

I always love ur long comments, they are never overwhelming. Ur just like anolibb, my other friend where u both have something in common, long comments XD.

Oh cool you're a mix! My kids would be mix too, I'm asian and my soon-to-be-hubby has mediterranean background. But he's also a mix so it's all mixed up lolz! Always interesting to guess which of the parents characteristics would get passed down to the kids, but for my kids I'm hoping they get my skin, my hairlessness and everything else can come from my hubby - lolz! Lolz so you have a girl 'twin' who's not really your 'twin'?? That's great - lolz!! Funnily enough I actually have similar experience with having that kind of a 'twin' - was one of the seniors my sister used to be friends with. But I only went to that school for a year, so that didn't go on for long time - lolz!

My primary school also started at 7am but luckily my parents would drive me so it only took 10mins. But 6am for exam prep - gahh I'm glad I'm not doing that anymore .. lolz!

Nah my trip was just a family visit overseas - wasn't a honeymoon! We might do a cruise for the honeymoon .. looks at to-do item #34

Can I see your drawings? I've been itching to practice my drawing again but walling's taken most of my spare time now (what spare time?!) which is alright, it's still a productive time to practising and learning new skills. I'm heavily getting into digital painting lately, which I would love to spend more time practising. I don't think I have a DA account, but I prolly will create one when I start doing more non-anime works ..

How exciting, only if I can be earning money doing this stuff ..

well things with me are alright, i'm right in the middle of midterms; i've had 3 this week and another next week... sighs.. i think i've reached my studying peak. i just can't study anymore!! ahhh!! hehe i'm ok.

drawing is great, i like it much, too. the good thing about it you can do things totally messy and it still could look nice. so you edited your latest wall? or just practiced trees? i think they looked great, better than my tree i tried to do. well i don't know either whats with you. maybe you really just need some time all for yourself or you stressing yourself to much. or did something bad happend you don't want to talk about? i'm like that to, but usualy when that happens my world turned upside down and i don't know who to bother with my problems. cause in my eyes the problems are just small and nothing talkable. a few months ago i met my father while i was going to the postbank and when i saw him i got terrible afraid of the image what would happen if he see me? we're not getting along to much and really think he hates me and he makes me feel bad and turn into a little kid and runaway. i really turned my back and off iwas. my boyfriend stopped me but i just wanted to go, i told him much later what was with me there. well i think i lost the point were i was going to? ah yeah if my boyfriend wouldn't had asked i probably didn't talked about it, cause of the above meantioned things. yesterday i worked a bit more on it and i thought of asking you to make check up. it's still not finished but a background is there and the vector is okay so far. many details are missing right now, i really need to add them. i just totally mess up with it everytime i try to add them. i think i'll take break for now of the wall, so i could send you the wall to look if it's worht going on with it. ^^ :D i re-looked into my dictionary and i looked the word pane up wrong. well what would you thought while reading it? "did she get a whole window in her little feet? i have this special gift to confuse other people and me, too. it was more like a little piece of broken glass. really small so no big deal but it was a funny day. i think it's better to slow down, so you have more time to work and you have the abilty to wall on times were you could concentrate on what you doing without making some misstakes. and probably you can wall with more passion if could self decide when you will go on. all in all it is much better to slow down. especially for you so could sleep more. ^^

Lol reminds me of when I was in primary school not wanting to go back to classes after holidays - things haven't changed much since then - lolz!

Thanks for your warm wishes on my page ^^ I've been such a slacker with the wedding prep stuff lately, but I did manage to get more stuff done while I was on vacation overseas, which is good :) The amount of stuff needing to be organised stressed me a lot at the start but the more I get into it the more I actually look forward to it :)

Well take took me a while to read but an indept message says a lot XD So ur twin is not really ur twin sister or brother with the same age etc but just a normal sister. I understand now. I have a sister as well, 4 years younger than me but she can a annoyance majority of times. I always do my own thing (watching anime, ps etc.) and then all of sudden she just opens door, barge in and be nosey at everything i do. Then she blah blah blah at her usually everyday stuff. Oh yeah, lying on my bed and making a reaket of noise as well. Annoying>Yes, Being a trouble maker>Yes, Irriatating sister in the whole world>Don't know because I haven't meet every brother with younger sisters XD.

About my wall, I'm speeding up my progress to ensure it meets the deadline which is the end of this week because this week is the last of my holidays. I just started colouring the vector image to get an actual look on the vector but the image itself is not fully vectored yet so more work for me. I'm still deciding on the bg but i think i found one. If it doesn't work out, I will be asking to give me an insight of it but so all is good. After this wall, I wanna do some small projects like custom avatars and banners. I wanna decorate my userpage a bit more as its too plain now. Personal note: Bio really needs an update.

Oh yeah, big mistake in my last post, I don't have an account on deviantART but instead on minitokyo. I was reading ur last message and I'm like "when did i say i have an account on deviantART", I checked back and i referred to minitokyo instead of deviantART. So everything i said about deviantART in my last post (account name, server being slow etc) all referred to minitokyo. Sorry for the misunderstand. Thats the problem when i'm on holidays too long lolz. To be honest deviantART isn't that slow because browsering through their pages was fast. Way better comparred to minitokyo but i recently checked back and they made some improvements which is good. As usual, only there for the scan XD.
